Basil Mohamed Gohar is the Founder and CTO of HidayahTech, LLC, where he leads the technical direction of HidayahSIS, a Student Information System designed to help schools and training programs streamline operations and learning delivery. He is deeply hands-on—owning architecture, infrastructure, and delivery—while coordinating consultants and guiding implementation from requirements discovery through launch and long-term support. HidayahSIS integrates directly with Moodle, enabling automated data synchronization, reporting workflows, and platform operations that support day-to-day academic and administrative needs.

Basil brings 20+ years of experience building and scaling production software and 10+ years of engineering leadership, including roles such as LMS Architect (ASM Research), Director of Engineering (Intervene K–12), and Web & Interface Applications Manager at the Ohio Supercomputer Center (The Ohio State University). He holds a B.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University and is passionate about building reliable, well-architected systems that serve real educational communities—especially mission-driven institutions and growing organizations.
